  • すべる – to slip
  • こける – to fall, trip, stumble
  • verb stem of masu-form + そうになる – be about to do something
  • ワッ – onomatopoeia for sudden surprise
  • バァンッ – onomatopoeia for banging
  • ツルッ – onomatopoeia for slipping
  • シーン – onomatopoeia for complete silence
  • いま – now
  • けっこう – quite, fairly, rather
  • すごい – impressive, incredible, terrible
  • おとがする – there is a sound
  • 〜よね? – right? isn’t it?
  • だれも〜ない – nobody does something
  • わたし – I
  • 〜のことを心配しんぱいする – to worry about …
  • verb te-form + くれる – to do something for me (action directed towards the speaker)
